ESCV 2026: 28th Annual Conference of the European Society for Clinical Virology

ESCV 2026 brings the European Society for Clinical Virology annual meeting to Porto for four days of clinical virology, diagnostics and translational research. The programme is built around keynote sessions, oral presentations, poster sessions, award lectures and industry updates, with themes covering pathogen evolution and emergence, arboviruses and climate change, respiratory viruses, congenital and paediatric infection, vulnerable hosts, HIV, viral hepatitis, host-virus interplay, antivirals, vaccines and genomic diagnostics. Abstract submission opened on 2 February 2026 and closed on 18 May 2026, with late-breaking abstracts open from 15 to 30 June. The source states oral and poster presentations, a 1,860-character abstract limit, Introduction/Aim, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions structure, no graphs/tables/images, author approval and permission to publish accepted abstracts in electronic media and hardcopy including the abstract book, programme and poster gallery.
