Fungal Update: Mycology Conference 2027

Fungal Update: Mycology Conference 2027 is a two-day hybrid meeting for clinicians, researchers, academics and students working in medical mycology and fungal diseases.

The programme includes patient involvement, haemato-oncology, meet-the-pathogen sessions, guidelines, clinical conundra, clinical trials, fungal infection prevention and control, drug discovery, communication and the WHO fungal priority pathogen list.

It also includes poster viewing, free-paper sessions and networking breaks across both days. Abstract submission is open after registration and covers oral presentation, poster presentation and clinical conundrum routes, with a separate FungART creative route.

The abstract deadline is 20 December 2026, outcomes are due by 29 January 2027 and accepted oral or clinical conundrum presenters must email PowerPoint slides by 8 March 2027. The guidance states a 500-word abstract text limit, English-language submission, Objectives / Methods / Results / Conclusions structure, and review by at least two Scientific Committee members. Accepted abstracts are published in the online poster abstract book.

Standard full-conference registration is GBP 170, student / trainee full-conference registration is GBP 100 and ISHAM member full-conference registration is GBP 140; virtual attendance is available at the same full-conference prices. A 10% early-bird code applies to standard registration until 30 September 2026, while standard registration closes on 3 January 2027 and late registration closes on 16 March 2027.

The in-person venue is the Royal College of Physicians in Regent's Park, London.
