Two days of exhibition, poster viewing and named expert sessions at QEII Centre provide national BSAC networking.
Accepted abstracts are published in JAC-Antimicrobial Resistance and oral abstracts are built into sessions on both days.
Hybrid attendance, low student/LMIC concession rates and oral/poster presentation routes make it accessible for trainees building an infection portfolio.

Infection 2026 is BSAC's Winter Conference, held at the QEII Centre in London with online attendance available. The programme is built around antimicrobial resistance, inequity and infection management across settings, including sessions on AMR inequities, vaccines and IPC, digital health, neonatal, maternal and older-person care, complex and vulnerable populations, invited papers and antimicrobial access.
Abstracts can be submitted for oral or poster presentation; oral abstracts are considered for named sessions on both days and all accepted abstracts are published in JAC-Antimicrobial Resistance. Oral submissions close at 17:00 GMT on 16 October 2026 and poster submissions close at 17:00 GMT on 6 November 2026. Presenting authors must register and may attend in person or virtually; accepted presenters are offered a 50% registration discount.
Visible full-conference fees are GBP 140 for BSAC NHS/not-for-profit members, GBP 240 for non-members and GBP 100 for non-member student or LMIC concessions.
