The fourth UK HBV meeting is a two-day research-focused gathering for scientists, clinicians and colleagues from diagnostics and pharmaceutical organisations working on hepatitis B. It is organised by the Universities of Nottingham and Oxford and aims to connect UK research groups and encourage collaboration.

The programme is organised into themed sessions covering clinical management, diagnostics, epidemiology, hepatitis D, hepatocellular carcinoma, immunology, molecular virology, prevention, therapeutics and the WHO elimination programme. Six invited plenaries are planned, with the remainder of the programme built from submitted talk titles.

Early-career scientists and PhD students are explicitly encouraged to present new data. That makes the meeting a strong option for trainees seeking an oral presentation route and focused networking with UK HBV researchers, although no submission deadline or specifications are currently published.

The meeting runs from the morning of 21 September to the afternoon of 22 September 2026 at Milton Hill House, Abingdon.
