Annual Congress 2026 is the Association of Anaesthetists flagship three-day educational meeting, taking place 16-18 September 2026 at Liverpool Experience Campus (LEX), formerly ACC Liverpool. The programme is unusually complete for a scrape source: it lists registration, keynote sessions, four parallel streams, clinical and non-clinical workshops, ePoster viewing, shortlisted ePoster presentations, resident-focused content, networking drinks and a conference dinner. Named sessions include climate-resilient anaesthesia, procurement, sickle cell practice, obstetric anaesthesia, trauma simulation, ethics, hierarchy and psychological safety, SAS pathways, transfer medicine, inclusivity and women’s health. Abstract submissions closed at 23:59 on 6 May 2026, with accepted work eligible for oral presentation or ePoster display, publication in the online supplement of Anaesthesia or Anaesthesia Reports, and cash prizes. Booking is live; early member booking runs until 20 July 2026. Member prices shown on the source are £650 for a 3-day ticket, £475 for resident members and £80 for medical student members for a 1-day ticket.
