Winter Symposium 2026 is the RCoA annual winter symposium, delivered as a two-day hybrid meeting in London and online. The published event page describes a broad clinical programme with lectures, debates, interactive sessions, poster presentations and awards, with all sessions and conference materials available on demand for six months after the event. It carries 10 anticipated CPD credits. The poster competition is a strong trainee-facing feature: the theme is audits and quality improvement projects in enhanced recovery programmes, and eligibility is open to foundation medical students, trainees, non-trainees, SAS doctors and consultant anaesthetists. Three winning entries will give 10-minute quick-fire presentations to an audience of over 250 attending online and in person, accepted posters will be shown on the virtual platform, and the top three receive free entry on the presentation day. Poster entries close at 23:59 on Thursday 15 October 2026. Public booking prices list two-day in-person non-member attendance at £660, trainee/MTI at £265 and student/foundation doctor at £135; online two-day non-member attendance is £375. A 10% early-bird code is advertised until 31 August 2026.
