Anaesthesia Research 2026 is a two-day in-person research meeting at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, bringing together anaesthesia research groups, clinical academics and trainees. It carries 10 anticipated CPD credits and has a visibly research-heavy programme. Day 1 includes Association of Anaesthetists and Anaesthesia content, RAFT trainee research, RCoA Centre for Research and Improvement sessions and a dedicated Anaesthesia Research Society abstract competition with six presentation slots. Day 2 starts with an ARS Research Breakfast for high-scoring abstract submissions, then moves through the NIAA Research Award session, breaking trials, patient and public involvement, RCoA CR&I content and award presentations. The page says abstract information will be confirmed shortly, so deadline, word limit, eligibility and submission portal were not available; the draft should be rechecked before publication. Public booking prices show non-member anaesthetist attendance at £400 for two days and £240 for one day; Category 2 is £160 for two days and Category 3 is £80 for two days. The page also advertises a new research dinner networking option near the conference venue.
