The 41st EACTAIC Annual Congress runs from 23 to 25 September 2026 at MECC Maastricht for clinicians working in cardiothoracic anaesthesiology, intensive care and related perioperative specialties. The programme theme is Human Factor and AI, with dedicated tracks on patient safety, optimal monitoring, cutting-edge research, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, plus collaborative sessions with cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, perfusion and nursing groups. The official page also flags practical workshops in advanced haemodynamic monitoring, POCUS, coagulation testing, airway management, regional anaesthesia and ECMO, with a simulation training day on 22 September before the congress. Abstract submission opened on 20 April 2026 and closed on 29 June 2026; submissions are limited to one per user, one presenting author, a 50-word title and a 450-word abstract in Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion/Conclusions format. The five best abstracts are selected for a Best Oral Abstract Session with prizes, and presenting authors must register. Fees are published in EUR, so GBP summary cost fields have been left blank; the full EUR fee table is stored in the page extraction data. Online registration is accepted until 10 September, with on-site registration thereafter, and the page states attendees may obtain UEMS credits.
