SIVA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 runs at Sandy Park in Exeter on 26-27 November 2026. The programme is now published: Thursday opens with optional morning workshops, then sessions on practical TIVA technique and science, including TIVA in children, ENT, frailty, obesity, craniotomy, hypnotics, neuromuscular blockade and the VITAL trial. Friday covers infographic presentations and surveys, environmental impact, human factors and ketamine. The meeting is clearly relevant to anaesthetic trainees, SAS doctors, consultants and clinicians using or teaching total intravenous anaesthesia.

Abstract submission is open until midnight on Monday 12 October 2026. SIVA invites poster abstracts for unpublished audits, case reports or research relating to intravenous anaesthesia. Research submissions must indicate ethics approval, presenters must be registered delegates, and resident doctors entering posters are eligible for the Lawrence Rowe Memorial Prize. The infographics competition has the same stated closing date and the top three infographics will give a three-minute presentation at the Exeter ASM.

Registration has early-bird and standard member/non-member rates. Standard two-day non-member consultant/SAS/anaesthetic associate registration is GBP 620; standard SIVA member resident doctor/veterinary/nurse/ODP/retired registration is GBP 374. The lowest consultant early-bird rate shown is GBP 415 for SIVA members, and the conference dinner is GBP 50. Sandy Park is close to Digby & Sowton and Newcourt rail stations, has more than 500 parking spaces with a maximum daily parking charge of GBP 8, and discounted delegate accommodation is listed at the adjacent Courtyard by Marriott.
