A joint AFSRA/RA-UK international meeting with faculty promoted from the UK, Egypt, France, Romania and the United States.
A current abstract portal is public, but the deadline and detailed submission form are behind account sign-in and no public word limit, structure, categories or publication outcome is stated.
Hands-on workshop content and a lower scientific-only registration option are published, but no trainee or student price is listed and UK attendees must budget for international travel.
This two-day meeting is for anaesthetists, pain specialists and clinicians who use regional anaesthesia. AFSRA's current conference microsite and graphics identify it as the 14th annual conference, held with RA-UK at the InterContinental Cairo Semiramis on 13-14 November 2026. The public themes cover regional anaesthesia techniques, acute and chronic pain management and patient safety.
Public workshop material lists regional anaesthesia and point-of-care ultrasound teaching, plus chronic-pain stations covering lumbar and pelvic injections, caudal epidural and piriformis injections, hip and knee injections, cervical nerve roots and stellate ganglion, cervical facet and occipital nerve work, shoulder and groin injections, and upper-limb entrapment therapy. The faculty promoted by the organisers includes clinicians from the UK, France, Romania, Egypt and the United States.
Abstract submission is available through the official EventsAir presentation portal. The public landing page allows sign-in or account creation, but it does not disclose a deadline, word limit, required structure, categories, presenter obligations or publication outcome; those fields have therefore been left unknown rather than inferred.
Registration is priced in USD. Through 1 July the published non-Egyptian full rate was $420, the Egyptian rate $350 and scientific-only access $120. From 2 July those rates are $450, $370 and $150; from 1 October/on-site they are $470, $400 and $150. Full registration includes the syllabus, attendance certificate and meals on both days. No trainee or student rate is publicly listed.
