It is open to healthcare professionals and medical or related students at all career stages, with clinical updates and best practice across acute, general and specialty medicine, panel discussions, interactive workshops, research and innovation, and networking. All tickets include live and on-demand platform access until February 2027. The event will be CPD-accredited, although the points total was not yet published. Non-member in-person rates are £765 for consultants/SAS, £360 for resident doctors and £215 for FY doctors or medical students; member in-person rates are £545, £250 and £140 respectively. The resident-doctor abstract competition closes at 23:59 BST on 30 August 2026. Categories cover health services/sustainability/policy/workforce, case reports, research including digital health and innovation, education/training/professionalism, and QI/patient safety/audit. Shortlisted authors submit an e-poster and may present; the main author and presenter must be a resident doctor. In-person winners receive prizes, and winning abstracts are forwarded to the RCP journals team for consideration for full publication. Detailed word-count and formatting rules are available only in the linked competition-guidelines PDF.
