A three-day MRCP(UK) PACES course. Friday and Saturday are in person at London Bridge, London SE1, and Sunday is on Zoom. Tutors are consultants, registrars and course leads, and vary by course date.

What you learn

Friday: four 85-minute rotations (cardiology, respiratory, abdominal and neurology) in groups of six, each room with a senior tutor and around three real patients
Saturday: 18 timed station slots of 17 minutes, including Clinical Consultation, with one tutor for every two candidates
Saturday: you perform nine slots and observe nine, with spoken and individual written feedback on each one you perform
Sunday on Zoom: a two-hour communication skills seminar, then two examiner-led role-play sessions

Before the day
Arrive by 9:15am on Friday and 9:45am on Saturday. Food is not provided.
The fee includes
An accountability group of five candidates and a faculty member, with check-ins every two weeks until you sit PACES
