BUG 23rd Annual Meeting 2026

This two-day meeting is aimed at clinical and medical uro-oncologists and is expected to bring together about 150 tumour-site specialists. The Oxford Suite is used for main plenary sessions, the Durham Suite for the exhibition, catering and posters, with other rooms used for workshops and seminars. Industry partners support the meeting, but BUG states that they have no input into educational content.

The 2026 abstract call is closed. Non-consultant grade doctors in oncology or urology were invited to submit work for either oral or poster presentation, and the deadline was 31 May 2026. The public current-cycle abstract page does not state a word or character limit, required headings, topic categories, figure or table rules, presenter-registration obligations, or a publication outcome, so those points remain unconfirmed.

Registration requires BUG membership. The published fee is £330 for a standard member and £260 for an associate, with a £50 conference-dinner ticket. BUG does not identify the associate category as a trainee tier, so no trainee fee has been inferred. Conference accommodation is no longer available through registration and delegates must arrange their own stay.

The hotel is on Brighton seafront, 23 miles from Gatwick Airport and within walking distance of Brighton railway station. The organiser highlights direct rail links to Gatwick, Luton, London and Cambridge.
