29th BOPA Annual Conference 2026

The 29th BOPA Annual Conference 2026 runs from 2 to 4 October 2026 at ICC London Olympia, with the BOPA AGM taking place on Saturday 3 October. The meeting is aimed at oncology and haematology pharmacy professionals and is presented as a major cancer pharmacy conference, with learning on new drug treatments, emerging technologies, commissioning, common practice issues, service development and innovation across pharmacy services. Registration is open through Cvent. The public BOPA page states that BOPA members are eligible for a reduced conference fee of GBP 300 including VAT when booked by Monday 7 September 2026; other ticket tiers were not visible before the Cvent personal-information step, so non-member, trainee and student fees should be rechecked later. Abstract submission is open until midnight on Monday 29 June 2026 after BOPA announced a deadline extension. Delegates are invited to submit clinical and technical work for poster presentation, with high-scoring posters selected for oral presentation. Abstracts are reviewed by the BOPA Audit and Research Sub-Committee, and authors are due to be notified by Friday 14 August 2026. Selected abstracts will be published in a Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice supplement, giving authors a peer-reviewed citation. Prize routes are strong: first prize oral plenary is GBP 1500, second prize GBP 500, oral plenary presenters receive free BOPA 2027 registration, and highly recommended/poster winners receive free BOPA membership for 2027. BOPA also announced 16 funded training and development grant places for the conference, with applications closing on 17 July 2026 for paid BOPA members.
