This symposium brings together clinicians, researchers, trainees, students and patient advocates working on early-onset colorectal cancer. The programme spans mechanisms and biology, screening and early detection, microbiome and immune interactions, clinical research, patient outcomes and survivorship, with dedicated networking and meet-the-speaker sessions.

Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentation. They are limited to 250 words excluding title and affiliations, structured as Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusion, and close at 23:59 GMT on 14 September. Early-career researchers may also submit a 150-word lay pitch for the Dragon’s Den; eligibility extends to students, trainees and researchers within five years of a PhD or equivalent, allowing for documented career breaks.

The event runs from 08:45 through networking drinks ending at 19:00 at the Francis Crick Institute. The agenda includes four scientific sessions, submitted short talks, posters, the Dragon’s Den, a PROSPECT panel and prizes for oral, poster and pitch contributions.
