The 38th annual cystic fibrosis symposium is a one-day in-person RSM Paediatrics and Child Health Section meeting for clinicians and allied health professionals involved in cystic fibrosis care. The programme covers current clinical and research-facing updates, including CF-STORM and CF-SPIT/CF-homeSPIT trial findings, respiratory sampling, diagnosis communication, CFTR modulator use during pregnancy and a year-in-review session. It is especially relevant for paediatric, respiratory and CF trainees because the Fellows' round invites four case presentations from paediatric and adult departments. Case submissions require a single A4 side outlining the case and discussion points, sent by email to the organisers by Sunday 27 September 2026; talks are allocated 20 minutes, with 10-15 minutes for presentation and 5-10 minutes for discussion. The event is CPD-labelled by RSM, but no point total is visible. RSM member meeting tickets are listed as free with optional lunch at £35.75; non-member early-bird prices visible on the page are £141 for consultants/GPs/SAS doctors, £84 for resident doctors or other HCPs, and £44 for students, with early-bird pricing available until 11 October 2026.
