The Scottish Society of Physicians 68th Annual Meeting is a two-day in-person meeting for general physicians, trainees, SAS doctors, AHPs and medical students with an interest in general medicine and its subspecialties. The programme combines practical clinical updates with research and quality-improvement presentations. Day 1 includes hospital at home, functional disorders, realistic medicine, workforce pressure, green medicine and the Fitzgerald Peel Lecture on reducing mortality in chronic kidney disease. Day 2 includes pyrexia of unknown origin, hypertensive emergencies, pulmonary embolus and a dedicated scientific/QI presentation session with poster viewing and prize awards.
