The Belfast Royal College of Physicians Update in medicine is a full-day, face-to-face conference for physicians and allied health professionals at all career stages and across medical specialties. The series is designed to keep delegates abreast of clinical advances, develop professional skills and create opportunities to question speakers and network with peers and senior RCP officers. The event awards 6 CPD credits. Published fees are £285 for consultant/SAS non-members, £125 for subscribing consultant/SAS members, £185 for non-member resident doctors and medical students, and £75 for subscribing resident doctors, FY doctors and medical students; refugee doctors also have a £75 rate. Lunch and refreshments are included. The page does not publish an abstract competition, presentation opportunity or abstract submission specifications. Registered delegates may later access presentations where permission to share has been granted. The venue is Crowne Plaza Belfast, 117 Milltown Road, Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast BT8 7XP, off the M1 on the A55, with more than 300 complimentary parking spaces. The event is sponsored by Wesleyan, which the RCP states had no involvement in organising the content.
