The NHS England East of England Autumn Symposium is a two-day, face-to-face faculty-development meeting for postgraduate educators across all specialties and every tier of the regional educator framework. It runs on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 September 2026; delegates are asked to choose one day only, with a separate booking page for each day. The audience includes aspiring educators and East of England Fellows, clinical and educational supervisors, college tutors, training programme directors, directors of medical education, heads of school, associate deans and representatives from the non-medical workforce.
The 2026 theme is “Educating in the Age of AI: Innovation, Leadership and Learning”. Tuesday’s keynote is Jessica Randall-Carrick on the Cardiovascular Disease Modern Service Framework and the NHS 10 Year Plan, followed by workshops advertised around Enhance, AI scribes, general-practice education and ARCP. Wednesday’s keynote is Ari Ercole on “From Artificial Intelligence to Actual Improvement”, with workshops around Enhance, simulation-based learning, general-practice education and Copilot. Additional workshops remain to be confirmed. Both days run from 09:00 to 16:45, but a timed session-by-session agenda has not yet been published. The parent page links only archived 2025 agenda PDFs, which have not been treated as the 2026 timetable.
Attendance is free. Places are limited and allocated first come, first served; a confirmation email with an order number is required, and joining instructions are due approximately one week beforehand. No call for abstracts, poster/oral route, publication outcome, CPD accreditation or registration closing date is published. The venue is Victoria House, Capital Park, Fulbourn, Cambridge.
