Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Annual Conference 2026

This two-day hybrid annual conference is for child and adolescent psychiatrists, CAMHS clinicians, psychiatry trainees, SAS psychiatrists, foundation doctors, medical students and allied health professionals. It takes place at the Royal College of Psychiatrists, 21 Prescot Street, London, with live online access through EventsAir and recordings available to registered delegates for 12 weeks after the event.

The revised four-page programme now gives a complete timetable. Day one covers the independent review of mental health conditions, ADHD and autism, routinely collected data, clinician support after patient suicide, eating disorders, neighbourhood mental health teams, gender incongruence and organisational dynamics. Day two includes school-based mental health support, bipolar disorder in young people, paediatric-frontline care, digital media, global CAMH training, intellectual disability, social media and eating-disorder symptoms, lived experience and personality disorder. Six breaks are designated for poster viewing. The earlier official event copy marked the poster call closed, but neither the current event page nor the revised programme publishes an abstract deadline, word limit, structure, eligibility rules, topic categories, figures or tables policy, or publication outcome.

Whole-event fees are £300 for consultants, £270 for higher trainees and SAS psychiatrists, £165 for core trainees and subsidised or retired members, £95 for medical students and foundation doctors, and £350 for non-members and allied health professionals. Single-day tickets range from £60 to £215. The optional dinner is £55. In-person fees include refreshments and lunch. The programme is eligible for up to eight CPD points per day, subject to peer-group approval. Online delegates can watch speakers alongside slides, ask questions and use the discussion forum; joining instructions are sent about one week before the event.
