The 2027 Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry Annual Conference is planned as a two-day Edinburgh meeting with an in-person and livestream option. The detailed programme is not yet published; the official page says it will be released in autumn 2026.
The strongest current reason to list it is the live poster call. The faculty is inviting poster abstracts for digital poster display at the March 2027 conference. Abstracts must be in English, up to 300 words, and structured under Aims and hypothesis, Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Eligible submission types include novel findings, new interpretations of existing data, quality improvement projects, education and training projects, service evaluation, audit and case reports.
The event page states CPD is 1 point per hour of content, subject to peer approval. It also describes online access through EventsAir, twelve-week recording access for registered participants, and a discussion/forum function for questions. Fees are not yet displayed; the page says ticket prices will be selectable when booking opens.
