Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry Conference 2027

This three-day Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry conference runs in person at Hotel Okura, Amsterdam, from 3 to 5 March 2027; Friday is a half day. It is not being livestreamed or recorded. The College awards one CPD point per hour of educational activity, up to six hours per day subject to peer approval, but it has not published a total allocation.

Poster abstracts close at 13:00 on 2 October 2026. Submissions must be in English, no more than 400 words excluding the title and authors, and arranged under Aims and hypothesis, Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. References, tables, diagrams and appendices are not allowed at submission; authors must define abbreviations, confirm appropriate ethical and governance safeguards, and disclose financial sponsorship.

Poster authors can opt into consideration for the Faculty Research Prize and an oral presentation. The prize route is open to forensic psychiatry researchers from all professions, including resident doctors and senior staff. Parallel-workshop proposals close at 13:00 on 3 September 2026 and require a topic, a workshop abstract of up to 400 words, a lead applicant and proposed presenters; up to two speakers receive a complimentary place for the day of their session.

Whole-conference fees are £470 for medical students and foundation doctors, £490 for core residents, £590 for advanced residents, subsidised delegates and SAS doctors, £640 for consultant members, and £690 for non-members.
