Complete guideFull MedicMess editorial briefing

The 33rd PReS Congress is a four-day paediatric rheumatology meeting at Sava Centar, Belgrade, aimed at clinicians, researchers, trainees, health professionals and the wider European paediatric rheumatology community. The visible programme material highlights new horizons in paediatric rheumatic and immune-mediated disease, including CAR-T cells, gene editing, grand debates, health-professional sessions, young investigator activity and specialist courses around ultrasound, capillaroscopy, intra-articular injection, OMICs methodology and the knowledge-based exam. Abstract submission has closed for 2026: the original deadline was 13 May 2026, extended to 19 May 2026, with notifications due in early July. Delegates could submit original unpublished work for oral or poster consideration, with topic categories spanning JIA, autoinflammatory disease, uveitis, lupus, vasculitis, imaging, transition, treatment, multi-omics, AI, gene therapy and mental health. Accepted abstracts are due to be published in the Pediatric Rheumatology journal supplement by BMC and on the congress website two weeks before the event. Registration is open with EUR early-bird, regular and late tiers for members, non-members, trainees, students, researchers, health professionals, YIM participants and patient representatives; GBP summary prices are left blank because the source publishes fees only in EUR. The page confirms a certificate of attendance after the congress but does not state CPD/CME points.
