ESMO Gastrointestinal Cancers Congress 2027 takes place at the CCIB in Barcelona from 30 June–3 July, with online access through a dedicated virtual platform. It brings together an international gastrointestinal oncology community to examine advances across GI cancer care. The published overview promises expert-led sessions, multidisciplinary tumour boards, keynote lectures, interactive debates and cutting-edge research presentations, with a focus on innovations that can shape clinical practice. Chiara Cremolini, Jeeyun Lee and Eric Van Cutsem are named as Scientific Committee Co-Chairs. The meeting is relevant to oncology, gastroenterology, hepatology, surgery and academic trainees, particularly those with GI cancer audits or research. Abstract deadlines, fees, CPD points, detailed sessions and publication arrangements were not yet available in the inspected 2027 page, so these remain unset rather than inferred. The confirmed international scale, hybrid delivery, multidisciplinary programme and explicit research-presentation route support inclusion as a draft conference.
