Established in 1984, From the Laboratory to the Clinic is a deliberately translational meeting for basic scientists, clinicians and industry researchers who want to connect mechanisms of disease with therapeutic development. The 2026 programme is organised around immunology and metabolism, microbial effects on disease, tissue repair, metabolism and two neurodegeneration sessions. Confirmed contributors span GLP-1 biology, immunometabolism, the microbiome, neural stem-cell translation, autophagy and antibody–Fc receptor biology, giving the conference unusually broad value across inflammatory, metabolic and neurological disease.
