EUSEM 2026 is the annual European Emergency Medicine Congress, running in Paris from 25 to 27 September 2026 after pre-courses on 23 and 24 September. The organiser describes the congress as aimed at physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, trainees and students working in emergency medicine. The congress site reports that the previous edition attracted more than 3,600 participants from over 75 countries.
The programme is broad enough for emergency medicine trainees weighing up a major European meeting: EUSEM advertises more than 90 sessions, over 250 expert speakers, pre-courses, the SIM Cup and Paramedics Cup, networking events and a public programme app. The venue is the Palais des Congrès de Paris, 2 Place de la Porte Maillot, with metro, tram, RER, road and airport access details published by the organiser.
Late-breaking abstract submission is open from 25 August to 1 September 2026 at 23:59 CEST. Submissions are for brand-new original data, in English, up to 300 words, and accepted late-breaking abstracts are for oral presentation only. Original research can be selected for poster or oral presentation in the wider congress process, while accepted late-breaking abstracts are published in the searchable programme on the day of presentation.
Standard registration is open until 7 September 2026. The visible standard non-member fee is €999 for EM and non-EM physicians, €550 for trainees and €400 for medical or full-time PhD students; lower member and reduced-country fees are also listed. Speakers must be registered for the congress by 20 September 2026.
