Submission Specifications
Structure
Introduction/Background, Methodology, Results, Conclusion and Disclosures are mandatory fields.
Word Limit
Abstract text maximum 300 words, excluding title, authors and disclosures; title maximum 30 words.
Eligibility
Systematic reviews/meta-analyses and trials in progress are acceptable; single case reports are not accepted unless accompanied by substantial translational or wider research.
Figures Tables
One table, chart or other graphic in total is permitted, as high-resolution JPG.
Regular Deadline
30 October 2026 at 23:59 CET for regular abstracts and late-breaking placeholders.
Submission Limit
Maximum 3 submissions per presenting author and 20 authors per abstract.
Presenter Requirement
Presenting author or designated replacement must register by the 17 December 2026 early registration deadline for inclusion in the programme and abstract book.
Late Breaking Deadline
15 January 2027 for final late-breaking abstract submission by placeholder submitters.

ESGO 2027 is the society's main annual congress for gynaecological oncology, held at Excel London from 25 to 27 February 2027 with onsite and online participation options. The programme is advertised as a three-day meeting with more than 40 scientific sessions, state-of-the-art sessions, tumour boards, debates, live surgery, grand rounds, poster walks, video sessions and oral abstract formats. It is aimed at clinicians, researchers, residents, fellows, students, nurses and industry attendees working across gynaecological cancers. Abstract submission opens on 1 September 2026 and regular abstracts are due by 30 October 2026; late-breaking abstracts are due by 15 January 2027 for authors who submitted a placeholder. Accepted regular abstracts are scheduled for online publication on 15 February 2027 and late-breaking abstracts on 25 February 2027, including publication in an International Journal of Gynecological Cancer supplement and the congress app. Registration opens on 1 September 2026, with early registration until 17 December 2026 and standard registration until 18 February 2027. Visible fees are in EUR, including VAT, with onsite and online access priced the same; non-member standard professional registration is 1000 EUR, non-member resident standard registration is 375 EUR, and ESGO-member resident standard registration is 275 EUR.
