Fees

EUR 50 regular abstract fee, EUR 20 for nurses and AHPs, EUR 100 late-breaker fee; Ukrainian nationals/residents and low-income economy submitters are exempt from the regular EUR 50 fee.

Title

Adjacent-cycle guideline: title must be one line, 50-250 characters including spaces, not all caps, no abbreviations, no final period and not every word capitalised.

Authors

Adjacent-cycle guideline: author first name, last name, institution and country are mandatory; roles for main and presenting authors must be indicated.

Keywords

Adjacent-cycle guideline: choose 2-5 keywords matching the abstract submission.

Structure

Withdrawal

Withdrawal requests must be emailed by the abstract submission deadline; no refund is granted after the deadline, late withdrawals are not considered, and EASL cannot guarantee withdrawal of accepted abstracts from paper/electronic publications after the deadline.

Adjacent-cycle guideline: institution/company, city and country are mandatory; repeated affiliations should be entered identically to avoid duplicates.

Nomenclature

Use current steatotic liver disease nomenclature where feasible, including MASLD for NAFLD and MASH for NASH; use alcohol-related/alcohol-associated wording rather than alcoholic terminology.

Late Breaker Criteria

Late breakers must present recent significant findings available after the regular deadline; clinical studies should be prospective, retrospective clinical studies are strongly discouraged, phase 1 trials are considered only in poster format, and laboratory-based studies are usually not appropriate.

Accepted oral or poster presenters agree to present at EASL Congress 2027.
