Three-day in-person congress in Liverpool with networking drinks, fellowship drinks, affiliated events and BAPRAS 80th anniversary context.
High: abstract submissions are reviewed for oral or ePoster presentation, with outcome notification stated for 21 August 2026 and multiple oral paper sessions now visible in the agenda.
Strong for plastic surgery trainees: the agenda includes oral paper blocks, portfolio pathway discussion, LED/SAS support, a Deanery Challenge, fellowship drinks and broad subspecialty sessions.
BAPRAS Congress 2026 runs from 2 to 4 December 2026 at The Spine in Liverpool. The current Cvent congress site carries a real agenda, with President’s Welcome and BAPRAS Collection history sessions, the McIndoe, Mercian, Potter and Hunterian lectures, oral paper blocks, microsurgery, robotics in complex lower-limb reconstruction, facial palsy, vascular anomalies, skin cancer care, women in plastic surgery, portfolio pathway and LED/SAS support content. The abstract portal now gives fuller submission rules: the deadline is 12 June 2026, abstract content must not exceed 250 words, sentence case is requested, and the recommended headings are Aims, Method, Results and Conclusions, without an introduction unless essential. Case reports and points of technique should be stated in the title and may be better suited to poster submission. Submitters choose free paper or poster, and all abstracts are reviewed by the Scientific Committee; outcome notification is stated for 21 August 2026. Registration is open through Cvent, early-bird rates end at 23:59 on 14 September 2026, and delegates may register until the day of the event. Fee amounts remain hidden behind the personal-information stage of Cvent registration.
