The UK's first doctor-verified medical conference directory
Conferences · Journals · Societies · Research, for UK resident doctors
The five-day programme includes opening and closing receptions, partner-society joint symposia, industry exhibition, young professional activity and large international attendance evidence from the previous EANM congress.
The congress accepts abstracts for TROP/FEATURED oral presentations, oral e-poster presentations and digital e-posters, and includes an online abstract book for delegates.
Junior member and student fee routes are published, and the Next-Gen Programme offered 200 early-career recipients free registration plus three nights of accommodation; that application deadline has passed for 2026.
EANM'26 is the 39th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, running in Vienna from 17 to 21 October 2026. It is aimed at nuclear medicine physicians, imaging specialists, theranostics clinicians, technologists, medical physicists, radiopharmaceutical scientists and researchers. The organiser reports more than 9,400 attendees at EANM'25, and the Vienna programme spans clinical, technical and translational nuclear medicine.
The programme includes plenaries, daily CME sessions, special tracks, joint symposia, LIPS sessions, M2M, clinical oncology, cutting-edge science, technologists' sessions, TROP and Featured oral sessions, case report sessions and e-posters. Public programme PDFs show multi-hall sessions across oncology, theranostics, neuroimaging, cardiovascular imaging, dosimetry, AI, radiopharmaceutical sciences, thyroid, paediatrics, infection/inflammation, physics and radiation protection.
The extended abstract deadline was 3 May 2026 at 23:59 CEST, with acceptance notifications on 26 June 2026. Accepted work may be scheduled as TROP or FEATURED oral presentations, oral e-poster presentations, digital e-posters, technologist presentations or case report sessions. Public pages did not expose a word limit, character limit, figure/table rule, author-count limit or full submission-form schema; the public service page only showed login/create-account actions.
Abstract-linked awards include the Marie Curie Award, Young Authors Award and Technologists Award. A separate Young Scientist Network award supports early-career alpha radioligand therapy projects and required a CV, one-page career statement, one-page project abstract, support letter and five-page proposal; that 2026 deadline has passed.
Registration remains actionable: early registration closed on 9 July 2026 and advanced registration is payable before 6 October 2026. Fees are published in euros only, from free student registration to EUR 1,300 late onsite non-member registration, so the MedicMess GBP summary fields remain blank. The venue is Austria Center Vienna, close to Kaisermühlen/VIC metro station on the U1 line; CME certificates require badge scanning and evaluations.
