Publishing in Therapeutic Advances in Psychopharmacology

Therapeutic Advances in Psychopharmacology is a fully open access Sage journal covering clinical psychopharmacology. It publishes clinical intervention and observation studies, reviews, evidence syntheses, case reports and scholarly comment. It excludes preclinical laboratory and animal research. Its guide also welcomes rigorous negative findings and offers two-stage registered reports.

Editorials are invitation-only and, like letters, have no article processing charge. Other accepted articles normally incur a $3,200 charge; standalone plain language summaries carry a higher fee. Waivers, discounts and institutional agreements may reduce the cost. The journal uses single-anonymised peer review, normally requiring two independent reviews before revision or acceptance, except for editorials and letters. It does not publish a submission-to-first-decision figure in the pages checked.
