UKNOS 2027 is an in-person, one-day neuro-ophthalmology meeting for clinicians, trainees, students and allied professionals. It runs from 09:00 to 17:00 at International Students House in central London, with a non-medical professionals’ breakfast meeting from 08:00 to 08:45. The 2027 theme is “We see with our brains, not our eyes”; the detailed programme and speakers are still to be confirmed.
You can submit an original short paper, quality-improvement work or an interesting case on any neuro-ophthalmology topic. Abstracts are capped at 400 words. Free papers use Introduction/Purpose, Methods, Results and Discussion; case reports use Case report and Discussion, and the diagnosis must not appear in a case-report title. Submissions may be selected for platform or poster presentation. Presenters must attend in person and buy a conference ticket, with decisions expected in December 2026. The Ivor Levy Prize is open to trainees and students.
Abstracts close on 27 November 2026 and general registration closes on 4 January 2027. Conference-only fees are £185 for consultants/SAS doctors and £125 for trainees, students, allied professionals and retired attendees. Registration includes one year of UKNOS membership. The organiser suggests arranging study leave when submitting an abstract; the meeting does not offer remote attendance or presentation.
