The UK National Neonatal Transport Conference 2026 is an in-person national meeting for neonatal transport professionals, taking place in Gateshead on 24 November 2026 with an evening networking event the night before. The BAPM listing describes the meeting as an annual gathering for neonatal transport professionals to connect, share knowledge and exchange experience, including presentation of the latest national statistics on transport activity across the UK. Registration includes access to lectures, exhibition, poster presentations, refreshments, lunch and a certificate of attendance after the meeting.
The abstract route is explicit and useful for trainees and service teams. Poster abstracts are invited from all professionals involved in neonatal transport, including research, quality improvement, audits and service innovation. The submission deadline is Sunday 6 September 2026, with outcomes due in the week commencing 21 September. Abstracts are peer reviewed and may be selected for poster presentation; strong submissions may also be invited into the main programme. Published programme themes include intrauterine transfer, simulation in transport training, and family integrated care in the transport setting. Early-bird pricing is £195 for doctors and £165 for other healthcare professionals until 31 August 2026, rising to £240 and £210 from 1 September. CPD UK accreditation will be applied for, but points are not yet stated.
