The UKHRG annual meeting is designed for clinical oncologists and trainees working in haematological radiotherapy, with participation also encouraged from haematologists, medical oncologists, clinical scientists, dosimetrists and radiographers. The day focuses on current UK trials, studies in development, advances in radiotherapy technique and practical clinical issues.
The programme was still in development when checked. Registration and networking open at 09:30, lectures begin at 10:00 and the meeting ends at 16:30; the format is intended to be interactive, with questions and debate. Slides may be circulated after the event where speakers consent, and attendance certificates are issued after completion of feedback.
The meeting is at Guy’s Hospital in London and costs £65. Online booking is stated to close at 09:00 on 5 October, or earlier if capacity is reached; the ticket includes arrival refreshments, lunch and an afternoon drink.
The event is paperless: delegates are asked to bring a device or print the programme themselves. A linked organiser PDF gives directions to the Robens Suite on Guy’s Hospital’s 29th floor.
