RCPath Wales Symposium 2026 is a free in-person regional symposium taking place on Tuesday 8 September 2026 from 13:30 to 17:00 at the Wales Genomic Health Centre in Cardiff. The event is aimed at RCPath fellows, members, trainees and others interested in pathology specialties in Wales. Delegates will hear about upcoming themes in pathology, developments happening in Wales, the College's work in Wales, and a presentation from RCPath President Dr Bernie Croal. Registrations were not yet open when inspected. The linked poster competition page invites professionals from pathology fields to submit abstracts for poster presentations. Posters may cover research, projects, best practice, service improvement, audits, interesting cases or ideas, with pathology at the heart of the work. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and include title, authors and affiliations, objectives, methods, results or expected outcomes, and conclusions or implications, plus an author biography of up to 50 words. The competition is open to Wales entrants only, with £100 first prize and £50 second/third prizes. RCPath lists the event as free and approved for 3 CPD credits. No explicit abstract deadline or publication outlet was visible on the inspected pages.
