Gaming the Mind Conference 2026 runs from 09:00 to 17:00 on Monday 2 November at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London, with live online participation available. It is aimed at clinicians, researchers, academics, game developers and others interested in how games intersect with mental health and clinical practice. Published themes include clinician–developer co-design, games as clinical tools, gaming and mental-health research, and perceptions, misconceptions and stigma around gaming.

The format combines expert talks, panel discussions, poster presentations, networking and shared discussion. Eight speakers are currently listed, including Professor Paul Fletcher, Dr Elena Petrovskaya, Dr David Zendle and Dr Ivan Koychev, alongside contributors from game development and education. A full session-by-session timetable has not yet been published.

Poster abstracts closed at 23:59 on 9 August. Submissions were limited to 400 words in English, with separate structures for general abstracts and case studies, and accepted work must be printed as an A1 poster for display in the main hall. At least one named author must attend in person; selected authors may also be invited to give a short oral poster presentation, and posters are considered for a prize.

Current base ticket prices are £45 for students, £65 for Foundation years/NHS Bands 1–6, £80 for core trainees/NHS Bands 7–8, £95 for ST3+/SAS/NHS Bands 7–9 and industry delegates, and £150 for consultants, before Eventbrite fees. In-person sales generally end on 19 October and most online sales on 1 November. In-person tickets include lunch and refreshments; bookings are non-refundable, and an in-person booking may be changed to online, but an online booking cannot be changed to in person.
