The event combines five spine societies and includes a conference exhibition, making it a high-value national networking meeting for spine trainees.
Abstract submissions are planned for research, innovations and clinical work, with oral and poster presentation routes advertised before the portal opens.
A dedicated multidisciplinary spine meeting with pre-conference masterclasses aimed particularly at surgical trainees, fellows and new consultants.
BritSpine 2027 is a three-day in-person combined spine conference and exhibition at ICC Wales from 21 to 23 April 2027. It is run by the UK Spine Societies Board with involvement from BASS, BSS, SBPR, NSN and BASCIS, so it is relevant to orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine trainees, consultants, researchers and the wider multidisciplinary spine community. The published programme is still in development, but the organisers state that it will span clinical practice, research, education and innovation, with masterclasses planned on 20 April 2027 as a separate pre-conference learning day. Abstract submission is explicitly planned: the portal is due to open in summer 2026 and the site invites research, innovations and clinical work across spinal topics for oral or poster presentation. The registration page confirms that delegate categories, fees, early booking deadlines and terms are not yet finalised, so no fee summary should be treated as available yet. CPD/CME certificates are expected for registered attendees, but the point total is still to be confirmed. The conference is not offering live virtual attendance; registered delegates are expected to have access to session recordings afterwards through the conference app.
