British Pain Society Annual Scientific Meeting 2027

BPS ASM 2027 is a one-day, in-person meeting at Crowne Plaza Glasgow on 20 April. The Society describes its ASM as a multidisciplinary forum for clinicians, researchers and people with lived experience to share pain research, clinical innovations and practice. The 2027 programme and plenary list are not yet published, so the live pages do not currently support session or speaker promises.

The current abstract area is live but all three pages—submission, examples and advice, and topics—say more information will be shared shortly. The adjacent official 2026 cycle gives the closest usable context only: accepted work was presented as posters; the four highest-scoring abstracts were selected for oral presentation; submissions spanned 22 thematic areas plus “other”; and accepted abstracts were published in the British Journal of Pain. The 2026 deadline was extended to 14 January at 12:00 GMT. Treat all of those as previous-cycle evidence, not 2027 rules; the Society has not yet published a 2027 word limit, structure, eligibility criteria, tables or figures policy, presenter obligations or deadline.
