A three-day joint BDIAP and Pathological Society meeting at ICC Belfast; no current social programme has yet been published.
The Belfast page confirms that abstract submission details are forthcoming. The preceding joint meeting used blind peer review, oral and poster routes, poster prizes and possible Journal of Pathology supplement publication.
BDIAP states that member discounts and attendance bursaries will be available; current amounts, eligibility and application dates are not yet published.
Belfast Pathology 2027 is the 17th Joint Meeting of the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology and the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland. It runs in person at ICC Belfast from Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 June 2027. The current organiser page is still at save-the-date stage, with no programme, speaker list or CPD allocation published yet.
BDIAP says members will receive reduced registration rates and that attendance bursaries will be available. Prices, eligibility details, application dates and registration deadlines are all still to be announced. Abstract submission is also confirmed as forthcoming, but there is no current Belfast deadline or live submission link, so the 2026 dates must not be used for this meeting.
For planning only, the official Manchester 2026 page for the previous joint meeting used a 300-word abstract limit, excluding the title, authors, affiliations and references, with a title capped at 20 words. It required Background, Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions headings, English-language submission by the presenting and corresponding author, and offered oral or poster presentation after blind peer review. Accepted presenters had to register and pay in full; adequate accepted abstracts could appear in the Journal of Pathology online supplement. These are previous-cycle specifications and may change for Belfast.
Check the Belfast event page before preparing a submission. The current call, categories, publication terms, presenter deadline and programme remain awaited.
