BAPEN Annual Conference 2026 runs over two days, 10 to 11 November, at Bournemouth International Centre. It is aimed at the multidisciplinary clinical nutrition community and is organised by representation from BAPEN's partner groups. The programme page says sessions will be delivered live from Bournemouth and will include panel discussions, pro-con debates and Q&A, with a new Clinical Nutrition Skills Exchange for practical work on anthropometric measurement, feeding tubes and grant applications. Dr Trevor Smith is listed for the Pennington Lecture. Abstract submission opened on 16 March 2026 and closes at midnight UK time on Tuesday 30 June 2026. BAPEN states that abstracts are peer reviewed and that accepted abstracts are scheduled as oral or poster presentations. There is a student stream for undergraduate and postgraduate research, plus a 250 GBP travel grant for eligible student or first-time presenting authors. Award routes include the BAPEN Sustainability Award, BPNG Members Award, Powell-Tuck Prize, PENG Award and Pam Harris Medal Lecture. Registration is open, with early-bird rates until 29 August and pre-registration closing on 3 November. The non-member two-day consultant/industry standard rate is 520 GBP, trainee doctor ST3+ standard rate is 470 GBP, and student/retired HCP standard rate is 225 GBP. BAPEN says it will apply for accreditation from the Royal College of Physicians and British Dietetic Association, but final accreditation and point values were not yet stated.
