AEPU Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

AEPU's Annual Scientific Meeting brings together people working across early pregnancy and acute gynaecology for two days of CPD updates in Liverpool. The organiser describes it as its flagship annual meeting for everyone working in the field. The detailed 2026 programme and speaker list are still in development, so no individual sessions or faculty have been added yet.

The abstract call is open for clinical studies and audits, service development, case reports, original research, and nursing or AHP work. The guidance sets a 250-word limit and a deadline of 23:59 on 7 September 2026; the timezone is not stated. The committee selects either oral presentation or ePoster, all posters are electronic, and decisions are due from 21 September. Presenting authors must register as delegates before submitting, confirm their availability by submitting, and give at least one month's written notice if an accepted abstract can no longer be presented.

For the full two-day conference without dinner, standard rates are GBP 433 for consultants, GBP 299 for trainees and GBP 100 for students. Early-booking rates are GBP 390 for consultants and GBP 283 for trainees until 24 September; the student rate remains GBP 100. One-day rates and nurse, midwife and AHP tiers are also available, and a conference-dinner ticket costs GBP 66. Every conference place includes one year's AEPU membership.
