Advancing Headache Care: The BASH Guidelines Launch Meeting is a two-day BASH conference for the UK headache community at Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre in Birmingham. Day 1 focuses on the new BASH Clinical Guidelines, including primary versus secondary headache diagnosis and management, medication overuse headache, CGRP therapies, migraine care and referral pathways, trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias, facial pain, vestibular migraine, women's health and migraine, national migraine audit and future strategy. Day 2 is designed for advanced clinical practice, with emergency headache assessment, migraine versus TIA, intracranial hypotension and IIH, new daily persistent headache, rare headache syndromes, migraine genetics and hemiplegic migraine. The programme also advertises small-group practical sessions on nerve blocks, Botox for chronic migraine using the PREEMPT protocol, and neuromodulation devices including sTMS, nVNS, TENS and REN.
