Complete guideFull MedicMess editorial briefing

The 38th EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium is a three-day in-person oncology research meeting in Barcelona for clinicians, scientists, translational researchers and industry teams working on molecular targets and cancer therapeutics. The programme is being built around drug development, target selection, emerging molecular biology and early-phase translational research, with a searchable programme and programme overview advertised by the organisers. Abstract submission ran from 13 April to 8 July 2026, with a late-breaking abstract window from 12 to 19 October 2026. The published topic list spans angiogenesis, ADCs, cellular therapies, artificial intelligence, biomarkers, cancer genomics, DNA repair, immuno-oncology, novel clinical trial design, paediatric oncology, vaccines and translational studies. Selected abstract titles are due to enter the programme after author notification, with most abstracts released on 4 November 2026 or on the day of presentation. Registration is tiered in euros: academic/institutional regular registration is 840 EUR, student/resident regular registration is 390 EUR, and early academic registration was 595 EUR. The event is face to face only and registration includes the scientific programme, opening ceremony, networking reception, exhibition/poster area, lunches, coffee breaks and three months of webcast access.
