Best Presentation Award
Free registration to Neonatal Update meeting for the best presentation by a trainee and junior consultant (CCT within last 5 years). Two awards per meeting (6 awards per year)
McCance Travel Bursaries
Travel bursaries for early career researchers still in training (such as undergraduate and postgraduate students, and those in fixed term, non-tenured posts) who would otherwise be unable to attend Society meetings owing to low income or other financial hardship. Reimbursement covers lowest cost second class travel from port of entry to the UK
Young Investigator's Prize
Nominations invited from basic scientists and clinicians still in training (not required to be members). Winner presents 30-minute lecture at Summer Meeting with all travel and accommodation costs paid by the Society. Judged on 400-word research summary and full CV
Student Research Bursaries
Competitive grants up to £500 for medical or science students registered for a higher degree to undertake laboratory, experimental or clinical research relating to the fetus or newborn. Can be used for accommodation, travel and/or subsistence. Successful students must present research at a Society meeting
David Harvey Fellowship and Lecture
Two-year fellowship providing honorarium, attendance expenses including UK travel, and waiver of membership fees. Recipients deliver special lecture at Summer Meeting and commit to attending at least two subsequent meetings
