The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI) is the statutory organisation representing general surgeons in the UK and Ireland, established in 1920. It provides leadership in general and emergency surgery and offers education, networking, research opportunities and awards for members at all career stages.

Averil Mansfield Travelling Fellowship
Supporting non–consultant surgeons to visit centres of excellence in emergency general surgery worldwide, fostering professional growth and leadership skills. Award up to £2,500.
