A one-day hands-on RCOG course for ST1 and ST2 trainees in core surgical techniques and clinical skills, from knot tying and suturing to hysteroscopy, perineal repair and laparoscopy.
ST1 and 2; foundation trainees and other grades are welcome, but trainees who need the course for timely progression to ST3 are prioritised

Instrument handling, knot tying and suturing, hysteroscopy, perineal repair, coil insertion and cervical smear, laparoscopy, opening and closing the abdomen and uterine evacuation
