PCC 2027 is the Association for Palliative Medicine annual congress for palliative care clinicians and researchers. The organiser says PCC events attract more than 500 delegates from multidisciplinary backgrounds, and the 2027 theme is Science and Spirit: Living and Dying in Modern Times.
The abstract route is live on the congress site, with original research, audit and service evaluation, case reports, and work-in-progress submissions invited. Abstracts are capped at 300 words and should use a structured Background or Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions format, with accepted work considered for oral presentation or poster presentation.
The main abstract call opens on 1 September 2026 and closes on 16 October 2026. Notification emails are scheduled for 20 November 2026, and presenting authors must register by 22 January 2027. Tickets are stated to go on sale in September 2026, but delegate prices were not visible during this scrape.\n\nThe congress venue is The Lowry, Pier 8, The Quays, Salford. The accommodation page and booking partner list discounted event-rate rooms close to the venue, with those rates available until 9 February 2027.
