ILAE British Branch Annual Scientific Conference 2026

This three-day meeting is for healthcare professionals working in epilepsy, with sessions spanning adult and paediatric seizure semiology, metabolic epilepsies, EEG, surgery, pregnancy, developmental and epileptic encephalopathies, and clinical and translational research. The programme runs at Harrogate Convention Centre from 8–10 October 2026 and carries 11 category 1 external CPD credits.

Research is built into the programme through two joint platform-presentation sessions with the Epilepsy Research Institute, a guided poster tour and a poster exhibition. Abstracts were open to members and non-members in General Abstract and Neurobiology of Epilepsy categories, with a 25-word title limit, no more than 10 authors and affiliations, and a 400-word abstract limit excluding references. Submissions closed at 23:59 on 1 July; accepted abstracts are included in the programme handbook, with cash awards for platform and guided-tour presentations.

Registration is restricted to healthcare professionals. The full non-member three-day rate was £485 early bird, £525 standard until 23:59 on 1 September, then £625; the student and bursary rates are £190 throughout. One- and two-day passes are available, and ILAE members pay lower rates.
