ECSS Manchester 2027

ECSS Manchester 2027 is the 32nd Annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science, hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester from 20 to 23 July 2027. The public pages describe an international sport and exercise science congress, with Manchester Central as the venue and Manchester Metropolitan University as academic host.

The current evidence supports a broad research-facing programme rather than a narrow course: abstract submission opens on 1 January 2027 and closes on 15 February 2027 at 24:00 CET, with author notifications due on 1 April 2027. Authors may choose oral presentation, conventional print poster or e-poster as a preferred format, with final allocation made by the ECSS Scientific Board.
