BTS Winter Meeting 2026

BTS Winter Meeting 2026 is the British Thoracic Society's three-day winter respiratory medicine meeting at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London, from 25-27 November 2026. The programme reviewed from the BTS site includes broad respiratory clinical and research sessions across bronchiectasis, asthma, respiratory research, occupational and environmental exposures, COPD, acute respiratory failure, pulmonary rehabilitation and paediatric respiratory care, plus the BTS Scientific Lecture, award presentations, President's Address and AGM. Abstract submission is open, with a deadline of 23:59 on Tuesday 9 June 2026. The abstract page specifically highlights the BTS/BALR/Asthma + Lung UK Early Career Investigator competition and a separate Best Medical Student Abstract route; shortlisted Early Career Investigator work is judged on the quality of the abstract, research content and oral presentation at the meeting. Public booking rates are daily: non-member standard £320, non-member concessionary £135, with early-bird daily rates available before 2pm on Wednesday 30 September. CPD approval was still pending on the booking page reviewed; BTS says eligible pre-registered delegates are normally registered automatically when approved and that six credits are usually awarded per day. The QEII Centre is opposite Westminster Abbey and is accessible by public transport; BTS notes there is no public parking at the venue.
